Mr. Ramsey is an associate member of the Golf Course Superintendents of America (GCSAA), the Northern California Golf Association (NCGA), and the United States Golf Association (USGA).  Mr. Ramsey holds License No. 3819, Landscape Architect, State of California.

Professional Experience:

1999 - Golfplan-Ronald Fream Design Group, Ltd. Golf Course Planner, Golf Course Designer and Landscape Designer. Responsible for site evaluation, golf course land use planning, golf design, design development, preparation of working drawings, construction inspections and liaison with real estate and resort planning firms and municipal agencies.  Provides oversight of working drawing preparation and coordinates with other project engineering and design firms.

1996 – 1999, Walter Raleigh Stewart, Larkspur, California.  Director of Golf, providing all aspects of golf course design including preparation of proposals, client presentations and interviews, conceptual routing plans and master plans, construction drawings and specifications, cost estimates, construction observation, and post-construction observation.  Project experience includes both domestic and international projects.

1989 – 1996, J. Michael Poellot Golf Design Group, Saratoga, California.  Senior Designer, responsible for all golf course design, including preparation of proposal, client presentations and interviews, conceptual routing plans, construction drawings and specifications, cost estimates, construction observation, and post-construction evaluation.  Projects include both domestic and international projects.

1988 – 1989, Algie Pulley, ASGCA, Lafayette, California.  Design Associate, responsible for drafting, preliminary routing plan studies, and as-built field drawings.  Worked with construction crew at Moraga Country Club.

1988 – 1989, Chardonnay Golf Club, Napa, California.  Maintenance Staff, working on all aspects of golf course maintenance.  Observed and studied the relationship between golf course design and maintenance.
