Regional Director, Argentina
Agustin began his journey at the University of La Plata where he studied Agricutlural Engineering. When he realized his true calling was golf, he made the pilgrimage to the home of golf, St. Andrews, where he perfected his English and knowledge of course maintenance working for the St. Andrews Links Trust as a greenkeeper. He also worked on the Old Course during the Open Championship where he learned about course setup for the world’s premier major championship.
Later he would return to Great Britain where he studied golf course architecture as a student of the European Institute of Golf Course Architects (EIGCA) Post Graduate Diploma Course. There he met Golfplan Senior Design Associate, Jeffrey Danner. During the two year program, the two played golf together and shared their ideas about design and construction. In 2010, Agustin was appointed Golfplan’s Regional Director for Argentina. His responsibilities include business development and liaisons between Golfplan and their South American Clients.
